System Rack-Scale System Announced

AMD's 2026 rack: 72 MI400-series GPUs on open standards (UALink + OCP).

You're looking at a system record: an assembled machine — a server or a whole rack — with what's inside it and where it's deployed.

Helios, announced for 2026, is AMD's NVL72 answer: 72 MI400-class GPUs, Venice EPYC CPUs and Pensando NICs in an OCP 'Open Rack Wide' double-wide frame with UALink scale-up and Ultra Ethernet scale-out — the open-standards counter-architecture, with OpenAI's MI450 commitment its anchor demand. Figures are announced targets.

Specifications & key facts

Each figure is labeled by basis: vendor spec, vendor claim, reported, estimate, or official. "Not publicly disclosed" means exactly that — we never invent values.
