NCCL ☆

NCCL implements the all-reduce, all-gather and broadcast operations that synchronize gradients across thousands of GPUs, tuned to NVLink and InfiniBand topologies. When people say a cluster 'scales well', they are mostly praising NCCL; AMD's RCCL mirrors it.
