Talen's 2.5 GW Susquehanna plant hosts the campus Amazon bought in 2024, originally as a behind-the-meter deal FERC rejected on cost-shifting grounds. Restructured in 2025 as front-of-meter supply, the arrangement scales toward 1,920 MW of nuclear electricity for AWS through 2042 — the regulatory test case for co-locating AI with reactors.
