NuScale's 77 MW module is the only small modular reactor design certified by the US NRC. Its first project (CFPP in Utah) was cancelled in 2023 on cost; the AI power wave revived its pipeline, with RoPower in Romania its most advanced deployment and data-center partnerships in negotiation.
