Technology Cooling

Fans, heatsinks and hot aisles — sufficient until ~40 kW per rack.

You're looking at a technology record: a building block of AI hardware — what it does, who makes it, and which chips and systems use it.

Traditional data centers move heat with server fans, hot/cold aisle containment and CRAH units. Air remains fine for storage, CPUs and inference cards, but at Blackwell-class densities the physics stop working: a 120 kW rack would need hurricane-grade airflow. Air's era at the AI frontier ended with Hopper.
