Benchmark Capability

2,500 expert questions with a deliberately final name.

You're looking at a benchmark record: a test the industry uses to measure chips or models — and what it actually tells you.

CAIS and Scale AI crowdsourced frontier-level questions across a hundred fields from domain experts. Launch (Jan 2025) frontier scores were 3–13%; by late 2025 leading systems with tools passed 40–50% — the benchmark named for the hope that there will not need to be another.
